flamingo exceeded my expectations in santa margherita di pula. loved the authentic feel, private beach, and great staff. minor improvements could enhance the experience, like more staff for pool/beach service and evening entertainment. overall, a comfortable hotel for families with young children.
Lack of nearby amenities/shops.

Close to beach. Nice pool area.
There should have been some wine glasses and bowles in the apartment. TV could have been bigger. Bad selection of TV channels and bad receprion of foreign channels (CNN, etc) Mini golf not in use.

Our second time here-that should say something. Very relaxing. Evening meal was exceptional every night. Fantastic outdoor pool and great spa indoors. Beach is very nice. Property is very well cared for. Great mix of international clientele looking to kick back and relax.
Overall great place, with a few caveats: Don't accept a room next to the canal. When the wind stops at night, the smell coming into your room from the canal is horrendous. Don't expect to do any business there; even mobile phone connectivity is marginal (Vodaphone is worthless there). WiFi is spotty at best. Not sure if a matrimonial bed exists there--all rooms we saw had two singles pushed together. If you're looking for night life, this hotel is not for you (which was perfect for us).

I had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Flamingo in Santa Margherita di Pula! The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and beautifully designed, with comfortable seating areas and lovely views of the surrounding eucalyptus forest. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be easily accessible, with ramps and handrails throughout the property, making it easy for me to navigate.
If I had to ask for one thing to make this vacation even better for senior people, I would suggest that the children working there be more attentive and helpful. Sometimes, I felt like they were too focused on their own tasks and didn't offer the level of assistance I would have liked.

the rooms were beautiful.....food excellent....close to other beaches, interest etc....restaurant and bar staff where lovely
lack of fruit for breakfast....the staff on reception were ignorant and spitful...me and my mother went through an unnessesary ordeal that could have been avoided...leaving a 75 year old lady to wait for 2 hours for a room that in the end we took a room that was ready when we arrived...rediculous...i initially wanted to leave...

The room location was fine.however paying 250 euros a night I would have expected to have a shower ,walls without holes in them and windows with full panes of glass. Maybe staff who said good morning or smiled may have made the experience more bearable this is a poor excuse for a hotel ,uncaring staff ,poor food ,expensive prices a hotel which is poorly maintained and staff who do not care avoid this one like the plague

Great amenities and stunning view!
We spent New Year's Eve in this hotel and it definitely had some great amenities and features. the pool area was amazing! We loved having a great view of the mountains while being able to relax and sunbathe. the location was perfect for us as it was close to some key tourist attractions. Lastly, the food was also delicious and we enjoyed the wide range of options available for breakfast.
Terrible customer service and outdated decor. Unfortunately, the negatives really outweighed the positives during our stay.

the location is perfect, with just a few steps to the beautiful beach and fabulous swimming pool. the Superior Sea View rooms with balconies, have amazing views. the rooms and bathrooms are spotless and well-maintained with comfortable beds. the staff is friendly, helpful and professional. the breakfast has plenty of options of fruit, hams and cheeses. the hotel facilities are extensive and well organized with a Spa, and activities for children, which makes it ideal for families.
The entertainment is rather loud and may disturb those who prefer a quiet evening.

I had a fantastic time at this hotel! The location was absolutely perfect, with the hotel situated right on a beautiful white sand beach. The beach was not overcrowded at all, which made it even more enjoyable. The service at this place was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I especially loved the room service, which was prompt and efficient. The hotel amenities were also fantastic, with a spa and wellness center, swimming pools, and even a jacuzzi. Additionally, the staff organized entertainment and activities, ensuring that there was never a dull moment during my stay.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Good breakfast and comfortable room. the hotel is located by the beach and has a great pool.
The customer service was very bad, and the hotel was not fully prepared for the Christmas season. Many advertised services and facilities were not available, and the staff was unhelpful and unfriendly.

I always stay at this hotel. They found my lost item which was very helpful. It has everything I need: Free Wi-Fi, off-site parking, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, bar, restaurant. Perfect for my business trips.

I enjoyed my stay here thanks to the helpful staff, great location near a private beach and a shuttle bus to town. The hotel facilities were well-maintained, offering aqua aerobics and live entertainment. My room was spotlessly clean and parking was convenient.

The private beach is a slice of paradise, perfect for lounging while sipping a cocktail or listening to the sound of the waves. It's like being in a movie scene! The team building activities offered by the hotel are top-notch. They not only help to boost energy and positivity, but also foster leadership skills. It's like a crash course in becoming the next CEO! The conference center, with its direct access to the beach, is a unique feature that sets this hotel apart. Who wouldn't want to attend a conference and then catch some sun during breaks? It's the best of both worlds! The newly opened Wild Duck restaurant is simply elegant. The service is attentive and exclusive, making it perfect for a romantic getaway or a honeymoon. It's like dining in a five-star restaurant, right on the hotel grounds! The spa center is a haven of relaxation. From massages with essential oils to oriental treatments, it's the ultimate pampering experience. It's like being transported to a luxurious sanctuary for the mind and body!
No iron in the rooms.
